Vermont's best-kept secret with plenty of un-crowded cruisers, steeps and great tree terrain.

Haystack has it all. Just like Mount Snow, Haystack has the steeps, the trees, the bumps, the cruisers, the views, the super-friendly staff and all the rest that make for a day of memorable skiing or riding. But here's the part that makes Haystack fans so loyal - not many people know about it!

But here's the really amazing part. Since Haystack is open only on weekends and holidays, if it snows on a Wednesday you don't have to grumble around the office all day because you're missing the powder skiing in the glades. It's waiting for you at Haystack! In other words, you can ski untracked powder on Saturday even though the storm was on Wednesday. And because we let the excess moisture drain out of the snowfall before we groom it, you get an awesome surface that you just won't often find anywhere else.

You can see why we were tempted to keep it to ourselves. But now that we've told you, you've got to promise to keep it between friends.
